Promoting Christian Authors in a Secular World

The Story Behind Christian Writers Promo

Promotion for Christian Authors

By Mindy Hildebrand

There is much to offer on the internet when it comes to online book marketing. Too much, really. However, as Christian authors, we have to be very careful with how we market our books. There are plenty of resources for secular authors, but what about inspirational authors? Where do we begin and how do we get to our final destination of selling our books for our specific target audience?

My goal is to help Christian authors. A Christian is called to “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” (Galatians 6:2) It has been on my heart for some time now. I’ve been trying to do this on my own for so long, but we are expected to network and help one another. I know I am not alone in this thinking. We struggle so often about doing it OUR way, and with NO help. But God has other plans.

I have news for you all (though it’s probably more of a reminder)! As authors, we are called to use our God-given talent of writing to glorify God. Our words can carry an enormous message for those who read us, and I feel such a weight on doing this correctly. How can I do this alone? It’s simple; I can’t.

After years of prayer, God has helped me develop this idea and I’m thrilled to present CWP to you!

Ephesians 2:10
“And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.” (Hebrews 10: 24-25)
